Banana Bread

I've always love banana bread. I love the smell of banana bread when you take it out from the oven. ahhh.. the smell..

I was waiting at least 3 days for the banana to be a bit brownish. Usually I would throw it away but I got this recipe from JoyofBaking and one of the tip was using ripe brownish banana, so I did. I purposely bought banana just because of this. ^_^ It looks so easy as well.

It turns out to be soft, banana sweet deliciousness. It's a keeper. Perhaps next time I will put some nuts or chocolate (surprise?) in it. ^_^

Muffin Muffin Muffin

Where art thou Muffin?

Well , I am in your tummy... your fat tummy... filled your mouth with sweets and melted chocolate...thus, I am delicious..

A request by my sister who wish to see the muffins. It is my promotional campaign for " Mai Finland". At least for my sister it would be " Mai Finland Lelama Skit" :)

I got the recipe from lovely lady, Titli Niihan in youtube.

She's funny.

When Days You Need Chocolate

You just eat one or for me, I make chocolate muffins with chocolate ganache on top of it. I don't have to put chocolate ganache but I don't know what to do with the rest of the chocolate and I don't want to another batch of muffins just because I have some chocolate left. It is good for my diet. ^_^ though I never think about my own diet but I try to eat not too less or not too much of everything.

I just found out that I am lactose intolerance so I am now making muffin lactose free but no chocolate free.

Well.. My relationship with chocolate never dies.

I used to bake some brownies just because I want chocolate cake but since I found one cake brand that surprisingly good to my taste, I just keep buying it rather than baking one. It is far cheaper than bake a cake. I know the pleasure of whisking your own batter and put it in the baking tray is somewhat highly pleasurable but I admit baking a cake cost quite much as well.

This is the cake I was talking about.

sorry for the bad pics. I can't wait to eat it ^_^

I bought it as S-Market for 1,75€. If you think about the actual amount of baking a cake, that price is not that bad. Beside, it is economical for me because my bf doesn't have sweet tooth like I do and he rarely consume chocolate so baking a cake would be such a waste. This is my solutions. ^_^
